Policy record
14 of 17
have a documented privacy-policy record.
0 are recorded as not found; 3 remain unresolved. Presence says nothing about policy quality or outcome.
Account-action guide · no paid ranking
Canceling addresses future renewal. Deleting addresses the account and its data. A refund is a separate request for money already charged. Exporting preserves whatever the provider makes available.
Safer default: identify who bills you, preserve what you need, cancel renewal, save the confirmation, handle any refund request separately, and delete only after you no longer need account access or evidence.
Catalog snapshot assessed . This explains documented paths and prudent sequencing; it does not claim that a workflow completed or provide legal advice.
A policy link is not a privacy grade
Not from a policy link alone. “Private” can mean hidden from other users, limited staff or contractor access, no model-improvement use, restricted sharing, a retention limit, or complete deletion. Our current catalog can confirm whether some policy and account-control routes are documented; it cannot turn those records into a confidentiality or security verdict.
Policy record
14 of 17
0 are recorded as not found; 3 remain unresolved. Presence says nothing about policy quality or outcome.
Export route
10 of 17
A route does not prove scope, format, timing, completeness, portability, or transfer to another companion.
Deletion route
15 of 17
A route does not prove immediate or complete erasure, and it does not confirm that renewal stopped.
What this catalog cannot grade yet: confidentiality, encryption, security, legal compliance, human access, sharing, retention, training or model-improvement use, regional rights, opt-outs, or completed export, deletion, and erasure outcomes. “Not found” and “unknown” are evidence gaps—not proof that a policy is absent or a product is unsafe.
Check who may access or receive chats and media, including staff, contractors, moderators, processors, analytics providers, or advertising partners.
Check model-improvement language, available opt-outs, what each setting covers, regional limits, and how long chats, memories, media, and account records may be retained.
Check export scope and format, the difference between deleting content and an account, stated retention exceptions, and the separate billing channel.
The lookup keeps policy presence, export, billing, cancellation, refunds, and deletion separate—and preserves unknowns.
Start with the outcome you need
Do not assume one action triggers the others. A service may document several routes, one route, or none that our current sources can verify.
On a narrow screen, swipe or scroll horizontally inside the table.
| Action | Primary goal | Typical effect | What it does not establish | When to use it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Export | Keep a copy of available data | Creates or requests whatever files, chats, or records the provider offers | That the export is complete, portable, or followed by deletion | Before losing access, switching services, or deleting |
| Cancel | Stop a future renewal | Ends or changes the subscription at the end of the applicable term | A refund, immediate loss of access, account deletion, or data erasure | As soon as you decide not to renew, through the actual billing channel |
| Refund | Ask for money already charged to be returned | Starts a separate merchant or app-store decision process | Cancellation, approval, account deletion, or a guaranteed outcome | When a charge qualifies under the applicable policy or purchase channel |
| Delete | Remove an account or specific content | Triggers the documented deletion scope for that control or request | That renewal stopped, every copy vanished immediately, or evidence remains available | Last, after preserving what you need and confirming billing separately |
A risk-reducing sequence
Check the receipt and subscription screen. Direct website billing, Apple, Google Play, and other channels can require different cancellation and refund routes.
Save receipts, plan terms, relevant screenshots, and any supported export or continuity notes while the account is still accessible.
Use the billing channel's documented cancellation path. Do not treat uninstalling the app or deleting a chat as cancellation.
Keep the date, status, renewal or end date, confirmation number, and any support response. Then re-check the subscription where it was purchased.
If a charge is disputed or eligible, follow the applicable refund process. A cancellation confirmation alone does not show that money will be returned.
Once you no longer need account access or supporting evidence, use the documented account-deletion or privacy-request route and save its confirmation too.
Check the original billing channel for renewal status and the service for the documented account or data status. One does not prove the other.
The product lookup separates billing, refunds, cancellation, export, privacy, and deletion—and leaves stale or missing facts unresolved.
Read the label literally
Removes software from a device. It normally does not close the account or cancel the subscription.
Targets a conversation. It may not remove the character, account, billing relationship, or all retained copies.
Targets one companion profile. It may leave chats, media, memories, or the account itself untouched.
Targets facts or context used by the companion. It is not automatically a deletion of source chats or account data.
Targets access and account-scoped data under the provider's documented process. Billing can still be managed elsewhere.
Invokes a policy or legal-request process whose scope, verification, exceptions, and timing may differ from an in-app delete control.
Aggregate evidence—not a product ranking
We publish the product-specific rows in the lookup tool. This guide shows only aggregate coverage so a missing record cannot be mistaken for a favorable answer.
Only current or due-soon records in a usable claim state enter an affirmative bucket. Stale, contradictory, unknown, and otherwise unusable records are counted as unresolved.

Common questions
Do not assume it does. Cancellation addresses future billing; deletion addresses an account or data scope. Confirm renewal status through the original billing channel even when the service also offers account deletion.
Export before deletion or loss of access. Cancellation may leave access active through the paid term, but that varies. If the material matters, preserve it before making an action that could restrict access.
No. Cancellation normally concerns a future renewal. A refund concerns money already charged and follows a separate policy and decision path.
Start with the channel shown on the receipt or subscription record. A service's website may not control a subscription purchased through an app store, and deleting the app is not cancellation.
Not necessarily. A documented deletion route does not by itself establish the scope or timing of backups, legal retention, fraud-prevention records, de-identified data, or third-party copies. Read the provider's current policy and request confirmation when the distinction matters.
Do not infer that a complete export exists. Preserve allowed material manually while you still have access, avoid collecting information you do not need, and use the product-specific notes to distinguish “not documented” from “documented as unsupported.”
Method and limits
This snapshot aggregates the current account-operation record for every active product in the Companion Curator catalog. Affirmative counts require a usable claim state and a current or due-soon freshness state. Stale, contradictory, and unusable records fail closed into unresolved. The projection binds the exact underlying claims and citations, but it does not expose a product ranking on this page.
We have not yet executed every cancellation, refund, export, or deletion flow end to end. Policies, interfaces, billing channels, eligibility, retention rules, and regional rights can change. This guide is educational and operational—not legal, financial, or platform-support advice.
